Just wanted to say found Mel reliable, fair and the quality of his work is of a high standard with attention to detail.

Mel came recommended to us as someone who can insulate and plaster over a damp exterior wall in our entrance hall. This was not just a simple flat plasterboarding task, but there was complex set of angles to work around and a decorative cornice to replace and blend in with the existing one. Mel pays attention to the materials he uses and the attention to detail and the accuracy of the work. The entrance hall looks far better than it did before the work was done, and few would even know it had been reworked at all.

We then had Mel back to insulate the sloping ceilings and walls of two attic rooms, again involving complex angles plus the usual complications of moving pipes and cables. And again, the end result not only worked but looked good. Mel has also done some smaller items of joinery for us and we know we can rely on him to finish the job and to keep us up to date with progress along the way.
